National Small Business Trade Group to Host Conference in Fort Worth SBA Administrator will Provide Keynote Address
Stillwater, OK, March 31, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The nation’s premier trade association for SBA 7(a) lenders, the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, Inc. (NAGGL), will host its annual SBA Lending Technical Conference May 4-6 in Fort Worth, TX.
The wild economic environment of the past 18 months is stabilizing, and SBA lenders must respond to an altered program and lending environment to perform effectively. The conference kicks-off during the evening of Tuesday, May 4, followed by two full days (May 5-6) of informative general and breakout sessions.
Just confirmed! The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Karen Gordon Mills will provide the keynote address during this annual event.
In addition to Administrator Mill’s address, the conference will explore current industry news, including new liquidation policies, a review FAS 166, updates on unclear processing requirements (e.g., life insurance, financing same lender OREO), the impact of increased delegation in the 'new normal', and secondary market initiatives. Plus learn about improvements to the offsite lender oversight system (L/LMS), investigate legislative happenings, and much more.
The National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL), the only national trade association that serves participants in the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) business loan program. Membership consists of approximately 700 banks, credit unions, non-depository lenders and service providers who participate in the SBA’s 7(a) loan guarantee program. NAGGL is the most highly respected voice in this industry and our members generate more than 80% of the annual SBA 7(a) loan volume.
