Moglich announced today the release of her autobiography, Memoirs of a Navy Brat, A Girl’s Adventure During the Depression and World War II, published by Outskirts Press. In 1941 Beverly and her parents were half a world away from the war that was in Europe and living in the peaceful warmth of Hawaii. Beverly Moglich is a retired realtor and entrepreneur. She and her husband Al raised their three children in Walnut Creek, California. After they retired, the couple sailed their forty-four foot sailboat to Canada, Mexico and French Polynesia. They now live in the gold country east of Sacramento. Beverly is involved in numerous community organizations that raise money for student scholarships. Writing has become a passion for her, even though as an author she was a “late bloomer” in life. She and her husband are now collaborating on a book of their sailing tales.
