Kevin D. Brown, President of Abrego Development Company, LP, announces that Catherine Leigh Duncan has joined the team as Director of Marketing. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the journalism, marketing and public relations fields.

Brown, President of Abrego Development Company, LP, is proud to announce that Catherine Leigh Duncan has joined their team as Director of Marketing. Duncan brings more than 20 years of experience in the journalism, marketing and public relations fields.
She previously served as Marketing Manager for Wilshire Homes for the past nine years. While there, Duncan was named the 2005 Marketing Professional of the Year by the Greater San Antonio Builders Association.
Duncan is a board member for the San Antonio Professional Chapter of The Association for Women in Communications. For the past two years, she has served as Program Chair for “Meet the Pros,” an annual event for area college and university students interested in the communications fields. The 2008 event recently earned the local chapter a national Student Chapter Programming Award.
Duncan earned her Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin. Her print journalism career included stints at the San Antonio Express-News, Austin American-Statesman, The Huntsville Item and the McKinney Courier-Gazette. When the San Antonio native returned to her hometown in 1994, she served as executive producer for the talk shows at News Talk 550 AM KTSA.
Duncan served as a media liaison/writer at Our Lady of the Lake University before serving as a publications editor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
As the Director of Marketing for Abrego Development Company, she will help coordinate the upcoming Fourth Annual Showcase of Homes for the Abrego Lake and Eden Crossing communities, which are just 20 minutes southeast of downtown San Antonio. This year’s Showcase of Homes is scheduled April 24 through May 2. Duncan also will concentrate on expanding the company’s internet presence and implementing a social networking marketing campaign.
