Glendale Restaurant to Give Away Free Delmonico Steaks on Game Days During the NHL Playoffs

The restaurant is offering its house specialty steak to Coyotes fans who visit on game day during the 2010 NHL playoffs.
To be eligible for the free Delmonico steak offer, hockey fans just need to sign up for Arrowhead Grill’s eClub at www.arrowheadgrill.com. Then on game day, those who have signed up will get a free Delmonico steak (valued at $26.95) for each Delmonico they buy.
“The Coyotes organization and its fans have been tremendous supporters of Arrowhead Grill,” said Arrowhead Grill Chef and Owner Charles Schwerd, who counts several Coyotes players and executives as regular patrons. “This is our way of giving back to them while also celebrating the success of our west Valley neighbors.”
The Delmonico steak Schwerd is offering is his most requested steak and is a nod to the past. The 10-ounce sirloin steak was dubbed the Delmonico after Chef Charles Ranhofer’s signature steak at the Delmonico Hotel in lower Manhattan more than 100 years ago.
According to Schwerd, the steak is prepared to the exact specifications of Ranhofer, culled from a culinary classic the chef penned a century ago, The Epicurean.
