Boston Cedar Announces Strategic Executive Moves
Holbrook, MA, April 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to stay "Out in Front," Boston Cedar is proud to announce three key strategic executive moves to position the 25 year old independent company to remain nimble in an ever changing business environment.
Effective April 1st, 2010, Rob Ankner, who is one of the three founding partners that formed Boston Cedar in 1985, will assume the newly created position of Chairman of Boston Cedar. Since the inception of the company, Rob has always been enthusiastic about finding the next best product and formulating creative but practical marketing campaigns to deliver solutions to the marketplace. By relinquishing control of his operational responsibilities, Rob will be in a position of devoting more time to his true passion of anticipating the needs and wants of the independent LBM dealer. Rob's two partners, Tony Morgan and Bob Vasquezi remain as company owners.
Joe Cusack who is no stranger to the industry will immediately assume the role of President of Boston Cedar and in his new role Joe will be responsible for all the day-to-day disciplines within the company. Known for his great sense of humor and compassionate but competitive manner, Joe's exceptional sales and management expertise as well as his career long devotion to the NRLA make him the ideal candidate to perpetuate the great vision the founding fathers of Boston Cedar had some 25 years ago.
Paul Colliton who is known as a no-nonsense problem solver with an approachable personality will assume the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing that is being vacated by Joe Cusack. Paul has amassed significant product knowledge and people skills over his three plus decades in the business and is very familiar with regional, as well as individual customer needs. His wealth of professional contacts from previous roles in sales, sales management as well as being an owner of an independent LBM distribution business uniquely qualify Paul to be a very effective leader and visionary for the Boston Cedar sales force.
With these strategic moves, Boston Cedar and its customer base will be well positioned for the opportunities that are sure to occur as result of being "Out in Front."
