Blackfrog Studios Record a Charity Single in Aid of Cancer Charity

Oxford, United Kingdom, April 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Local acoustic rock band, Full Circle, release their debut single this week in a bid to help turn around the life of a little girl seriously ill with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.

Recorded at Thame’s BlackFrog Studios, the Thame and Abingdon based band hope that the donation of all the profits from their single ‘Driving Away (a song for Stella)’ will help to pay for pioneering antibody therapy not currently available in the UK.

The 2Simple Trust, a charity that helps children with neuroblastoma, loaned the family of 2 year old Stella Rogers the deposit for the £250,000 needed to begin treatment in America. But now, despite already raising £30,000, the race is on to find the rest of the funds through charitable donations. Full Circle hope that profits of their single will help to raise at least part of the money so desperately needed.

Lead singer of ‘Full Circle’ and family friend Martin Wackenier said “Producing this record was a joy, especially knowing that the proceeds can make a real difference to this little girl.”

‘Driving Away’ is the first track off of Full Circles debut album, ‘From North to South and all in between’ which is released later this year and the band will continue to promote Stella’s cause through concerts and events booked through the rest of the year.

The song is available for download from the BlackFrog website, iTunes, Amazon and Napster.
