Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 14001, Fairchild Controls deploys OIT document imaging to retain configuration control for Engineering documentation, industrial specifications and internal company polices and procedures. DocFinity is helping Fairchild Controls to be AS9100 and ISO 14001 compliant by providing an electronic vault for mechanical drawings. The system controls access to files and ensures documentation can not be altered. DocFinity also provides detailed digital trails of all file access and transactional activity, making it quicker and easier to demonstrate compliance with multiple auditing entities. The software has also been implemented in human resources to securely store company policy files and other documentation.
