Artezio Software Became a Sponsor of the Dutch Offshore Seminar
Artezio sponsored the Dutch Offshore Seminar in Amsterdam on March 25, 2010. The company enters Dutch IT-market.
Amsterdam, Netherlands, April 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The financial crisis, followed by an economic downturn, had a negative effect on the Dutch IT-sector, with projects being canceled and postponed. But analysts expect that 2010 will show signs of recovery, and this will also result in a growing interest for offshoring. For this reason, GPI Consultancy, one of the most respectable independent Dutch IT-consulting companies organized an offshore seminar. The main goal of the event was to provide Dutch companies (both SME and large enterprises) with information on offshore sourcing and new world trends in this area.
The event showed up that the most important issues for Dutch companies when choosing an offshore partner are experience in cooperation with local clients, intellectual property, advanced project management and planning, agility, joint work on project. Moreover Dutch business society still doesn’t interpret any regions except India as a beneficial opportunity for offshoring. The reason for such lack of interest in IT-outsourcing to Russia in particular is a low presence of Russian software companies on Dutch IT-market as well as a huge level of promotion activities of Indian companies in this region. Such situation has been considered to be regular before and during the crisis, but nowadays new trends as outsourcing 2.0 and multisourcing will evidently change it.
These two points (terms for choosing an offshore partner and global outsourcing tendencies) make current investment of Artezio into its promotion in the Netherlands rather prospective in a long run. Artezio’s sponsorship of the Dutch Offshore Seminar, after attending the Entscheiderforum Outsourcing in Bad Homburg, Germany in November, 2009, and the CeBIT in Hannover, Germany in March, 2010 demonstrates Artezio’s continued commitment to raising its visibility in Western Europe. This year Artezio’s management decided to focus on business development in German-speaking states and the Netherlands, countries that overcome consequences of the crisis more successful than others. The company is going to offer its vertical IT-services as well as to make an accent on extension of its proposal of SAP/ABAP development and consulting services in these regions.
