Fashion To Figure Partners with VH1 Save the Music Foundation for Grand Opening of New Bay Plaza Shopping Center Store
New York, NY, April 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at 1:00 PM, Fashion To Figure (FTF) will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its newest store at Bay Plaza Shopping Center, in the Bronx, New York. FTF is pleased to announce that 10% of all sales from the day will be donated to VH1’s Save The Music Foundation, whose mission is to “ensure that every child has access to a complete education that includes the benefits of music instruction,” and operates in many schools across New York City, including fifty-nine schools in the Bronx.
“FTF is thrilled to open our new location in the Bay Plaza Shopping Center and team-up with the VH1 Save The Music Foundation in supporting the Bronx community by raising awareness about the importance of music as part of children’s education, as well as fulfilling the FTF mission of making people’s lives better by providing them with ultimate full-fashion shopping experience” said FTF Co-Founder and CEO Michael Kaplan. Kaplan went on to say: “FTF is committed to the local communities in which our stores operate. The chance to support educational efforts in the Bronx means a lot to the entire FTF Family as well as to our customers and their families.”
Representatives from the VH1 Save The Music Foundation will be in attendance. Guests are invited to shop, enjoy complimentary light refreshments, and enter a raffle give-away to win a guitar, courtesy of VH1 Save The Music. There will also be an opportunity to make direct donations to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation at the event.
