Daelia's Biscuits for Cheese Expands Into Northeast
Cincinnati, OH, April 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Daelia’s Food Company, the Cincinnati-based makers of Daelia’s Biscuits for Cheese, announced today it will be carried by Seacrest Foods, an international importer and wholesale distributor of specialty cheeses and fine foods.
Seacrest has serviced independent retailers and chains throughout New England and New York since 1981.
“The East Coast is highly sought-after for distribution power,” said Maria Walley, founder and president of Daelia’s. “This partnership is a big win for us.”
Launched in Fall 2009, Daelia’s Biscuits for Cheese is quickly establishing a national following and is already available in all Whole Foods Market stores in addition to the new locations European Imports will bring. Made in the U.S.A. and based on an old Mediterranean recipe, Daelia’s Biscuits are designed to go with all types of cheeses, bringing out their natural flavors but never overwhelming them.
The biscuits are made with nuts and dried fruit, ideal complements to cheese. Flavors include almond raising and the new hazelnut fig. And they’re sturdy so they won’t break easily. Suggested retail price is $4.99.
As a wholesale distributor of imported and domestic cheeses, fresh pates, fresh pasta, salsa and crackers, Seacrest Foods has been servicing supermarkets, gourmet shops, and farm stands throughout the Northeastern United States for 20 years. Seacrest Foods houses an inventory of more than 3,000 items imported from over 20 countries.
“Daelia’s is thrilled about this new distribution opportunity,” said Walley. “Seacrest Foods is known for providing products of the highest quality. For them to accept Daelia’s into their product line is the highest compliment."
