NPSA Spring Portable Storage Seminar Explores Container Modifications
The National Portable Storage Association's 2010 Spring Portable Storage Seminar in Virginia Beach, Va. on April 26-27 will offer hands on demonstrations during a local yard visit.
Kansas City, MO, April 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Portable Storage Association's 2010 Spring Seminar will offer hands on demonstrations of portable storage container modifications. Industry players are banding together at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront resort in Virginia Beach, Va. on April 26-27 to explore the latest trends in portable storage, including using portable storage containers in new ways.
Beyond green building trends, portable storage building inspections and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, this year's Spring Seminar will offer 25 participants a yard tour at a local portable storage vendor's site.
"On Tuesday morning, we will depart for a yard visit at Mid Atlantic Leasing, one of our local members," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director of the NPSA. "At the yard, we will see hands-on demonstrations and discuss various types of container modifications, as well as locking devices, trailers and other aspects of yard operations."
The NPSA's 2010 Spring Seminar kicks off on Monday, April 26, 2010 with a noontime luncheon and registration. NPSA Chairman Joe Verdi, owner of A-Verdi Storage Containers, will set the conference in motion with the opening ceremonies before introducing a series of opening-day speakers. There will also be a roundtable discussion moderated by Phil Herndon, President of Container Solutions, and an evening reception.
Registration is $425 for NPSA members and $775 for non-NPSA members. Non-members are encouraged to join the NPSA can save up to $350 on registration fees. Attendees that do not register in advance will pay $75 additional for walk-up registration.
