Agreement Near on Distribution of Breakthrough Oil Pumping Technology

Unlike the traditional pump jack—a complex and labor-intensive machine that hasn't changed significantly since the 1930s—the BPS is a simple one-piece pumping unit that requires only one person to install and service, saving over 90% in labor costs alone. The new system has no moving parts to wear out, corrode or break, no rods, no beam pump, and no work-over rig. In fact, a single operator can attach the BPS portable platform to a pickup truck, drive up to a well and install it in less than twenty minutes.

The BPS uses a thermoplastic tubing system with an integrated power cable and stainless steel wire rope. This is attached to an Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) to create a durable one-piece component that can be installed by just one person without a work-over rig. Since all the valuable equipment is down-hole and cannot be removed without a spooler, it is also protected from theft.
