YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas Elects Mike Haggerty as New Board Chair

Dallas, TX, April 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Mike Haggerty, partner at Jackson Walker L.L.P., was elected Chairman of the Dallas YMCA at the organization’s 125th Anniversary celebration and Annual Meeting.

Mr. Haggerty has served on the Board of Directors since 2000 and as Treasurer of the Board since 2006. He has also served on the Executive and Finance Committees and the YMCA Foundation. Mr. Haggerty’s other community affiliations include the Salesmanship Club, the Dallas Zoological Society, and the Real Estate Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors of North Dallas Bank & Trust.

Haggerty currently heads the Jackson Walker Finance practice group where he regularly represents a number of financial institutions and commercial real estate companies in a variety of real estate, commercial, and corporate lending transactions.
