Mike Ditka Resorts would like to announce Jim McMahon, Ottis Jerome “OJ” Anderson, David Mobley, Keldrick “KD” Dunn, Larry Lee, Don Nottingham, James Jones, and Mike McDaniel as celebrities that will be in attendance at Mike Ditka Resorts Annual Celebrity Golf Outing on April 16th – 18th, 2010.
Jim McMahon is a former American football player who played with the Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, and Green Bay Packers. McMahon has won two super bowl rings, one in 1985 at Super Bowl XX with the Chicago Bears and one in 1996 with the Green Bay Packers.
Ottis Jerome “OJ” Anderson is a former running back who has played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Giants. OJ has had many great accomplishments during his time in the NFL including, being named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the year in 1979 and the MVP during Super Bowl XXV in 1991 when playing for the New York Giants.
David Mobley is a former World Long Drive Champion who continues to deliver earth shattering drives, wowing spectators across the United States.
Keldrick “KD” Dunn is a former American football tight end in the NFL who played for the St. Louis Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, and the New York Jets.
Larry Lee is a former American football player who played eight seasons in the National Football League. He played for the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Denver Broncos.
Don Nottingham is a former running back for the Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins. He was a contributing member of the Miami Dolphins team who won Super Bowl VIII.
James Jones is a former American football player. He played 10 professional seasons as a running back for the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks from 1983 - 1992.
Mike McDaniel is the host of ‘Havin’ a Beer with Mike’.
These celebrities will be joining the previously announced celebrities, who include, former football players Derrick Brooks, Mike McBath, Barry Smith, J. Harrell, Ron Dixon, Kenard Lang, William Floyd, Walter Briggs, Don Jonas, Derrick Alexander, Corey Sawyer, and Beau Jarrel, as well as former World Champion Wrestler Ray Lloyd and Team USA skier Terry Ahola.
Mike Ditka Resorts is extremely excited to have these celebrities in attendance at this year’s Celebrity Golf Outing benefiting the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund and is looking forward to spending a fun-filled weekend with all guests, while raising money for a great cause!
The event will kick off Friday, April 16th with a welcome reception from 7-10 p.m. featuring cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for guests to enjoy while mingling with Coach Ditka and other celebrities.
Saturday morning the golf outing will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at the top rated Mystic Dunes Golf Club in Celebration, Florida, while those choosing not to participate in the celebrity golf outing will have the option to partake in one of the luxury in-house spa services that will be provided. Following the celebrity golf outing and luxury spa services, guests will be invited to join their favorite celebrities for a night of fun which includes cocktails and hors d' oeuvres, live entertainment, as well as a silent and live auction.
