NAMWOLF Lauds New York City Corporation Counsel, Michael A. Cardozo for Outreach to for Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms

New York, NY, April 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) applauds Michael Cardozo, Corporation Counsel of the New York City Law Department and his administration for hosting a reception providing opportunities for minority and women-owned law firms.

Recently, Cardozo met with the Chairman, Emery K. Harlan and Managing Director, Yolanda Coly of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) to discuss future ideas for increasing opportunities for MWBE firms in New York City.

The New York City Law Department will host a reception for minority and women-owned law firms to include a briefing about the types of business the city agencies do and the process for selection of law firms. The reception will also provide the opportunity to network with representatives from these agencies.

The reception is to be held at the New York City Law Department on Monday, April 26 at 5:30.
