Gogeon, the Geographical News Agitator, has been Released for Public Review
Melbourne, FL, November 15, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Gogeon.com was officially launched for public review on Monday, November 13th, 2006 marking another first in the next generation of browsing news. Gogeon allows users to view news stories based on their location throughout the United States. Users are able to quickly choose stories near them based on pins distributed on a colorful map indicating where each story unfolded.
This revolutionary news aggregate site also facilitates user-driven content by allowing readers to post their own ‘inside’ information about any story that may have made the headlines. Through the Insider Info system, a user can add any facts or opinions about those persons and situations involved in the stories for others to read and respond to.
Future expansion plans include adding demographic information to provide a setting for the user to preface the story, region-specific advertising to display relevant ads to visitors, rewards for those particularly gifted Insider Info posters, and the addition of many more news agencies to the Gogeon feed. Future features will depend on feedback received from the public beta release of Gogeon.com.
Contact Information
Joseph Pearce, President of Gogeon.com, may be contacted at 352.266.4730 or joseph@intideas.com.
