Compliance Consultant Elected to PDMA Alliance Board of Directors
Compliance Implementation Services (CIS) announced today that Judy Fox, CIS Director for U.S. Global Compliance, has been elected to the PDMA Alliance Inc. Board of Directors.
Philadelphia, PA, April 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a pharmaceutical compliance consulting firm, announced today that Judy Fox, CIS Director for U.S. Global Compliance, has been elected to the PDMA Alliance Inc. Board of Directors.
“The very nature of the PDMA Alliance is to be an organization ‘by the industry for the industry,’ and through the Alliance, I’ve been a resource to the industry members for several years,” said Ms. Fox. “As a result, I’m prepared to bring PDMA and general compliance concerns to the rest of the board.”
In addition to acting as an industry resource, the PDMA Alliance Board is responsible for ensuring that content and speakers are relevant to the attendees of the 20th Annual PDMA Sharing Conference being held October 3-6, 2010 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California, USA.
“The annual conference is the industry’s premier sample accountability and compliance conference,” said Fox. “And while we will continue to focus on the most effective compliance solutions for sample accountability professionals, this year the Alliance is enhancing the conference content to include fraud and abuse. Some aspects of the new Fraud and Abuse educational opportunities will feature related topics such as Investigations, PhRMA Code, Anti-kickback, OIG, Sunshine Act, and Risk Assessment. As a compliance consultant, I can address the industry best practices and risks we see in all of these areas.”
In the past ten years, Ms. Fox has amassed diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of compliance, regulatory affairs, commercial operations, quality assurance, and inventory management. In addition, Ms. Fox has lead CIS’s PDMA and State Reporting services offerings.
