Fishkill, Beacon, Cold Spring Karate School - Just for Kicks Martial Arts is Being Honored for It's Awesome Children's Life Skills Curriculum by the National Association for Professional Martial Artists.
Fishkill, NY, April 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- http://www.justforkicks.biz - The last three years have completely flown by for Just For Kicks Martial Arts Owner Robert Blum. In 2007 he took over the school from his father with the intentions of making an amazing amount of positive changes to the schools programs. These changes were designed to help the Just for Kicks program to rise to a level that no other martial arts school could even dream of having. The schools Leadership curriculum is helping every student change their lives on a daily basis.
After just his 1st year of owning the school Just For Kicks received the prestigious century gold award. This award is given to the top 100 schools in the country. They then won the award for a second time this past July. At the end of July Martial Arts Professional Magazine contacted Master Blum and asked if they could interview him for an issue they were doing on the nations top up and coming young school owners.
When asked about the article, Master Blum said, "The recognition of our school as one of the nations best in the area of instruction and character development was a great honor, being interviewed for the cover article for Martial Arts Professional Magazine for the outstanding performance of our school was an awesome experience."
Now in year three Just for Kicks has been bestowed yet another great honor. Master Blum received a call from Toby Milroy the COO of the National Association Of Professional Martial Artists. Because of the hard work of the Just for Kicks staff and the amazing leadership and life skills program that Just For Kicks teaches, Master Blum has been asked to attend the NAPMA Quantum Leap Academy as a presenter on Children's Martial Arts Success. Master Blum was quoted as saying, "This is an amazing opportunity and one of the best recognitions of my life. I have won many trophies and awards for competition including national titles and a chance to try out for the Olympic team, but being recognized for how our school and our program is changing the lives of the children who are enrolled in it is priceless and in my opinion ranks up their with the top successes and moments of my life."
