Austin Art Space Artist Valerie Walden Featured in Austin Settings Benefit at Austin Country Club April 21-22, 2010
Austin, TX, April 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Two of Valerie Walden’s paintings will be part of the 14th Annual Austin Settings Fundraiser at Austin Country Club, April 21-22, 2010. The event features elaborately designed and decorated tables by Austin’s most talented designers, creative florists and premier boutiques complemented by selected artwork by members of the Austin Pastel Society.
Ms. Walden said, “I’m pleased to be chosen as part of this event. The settings show off the art to beautiful effect. And, it’s for two very good causes.” Ms. Walden’s pastel paintings “Andaze”, a landscape from Argentina; and “Electric Sun”, a sunset from Texas will be on display. A portion of any sale goes to charity.
This year, the event benefits Hospice Austin and the Austin Children’s Shelter. Kappa Kappa Gamma Austin Alumnae Association sponsors the benefit. A cocktail preview party is held on Wednesday, April 21; a table viewing and luncheon are held on Thursday, April 22. Tickets are available at www.austinsettings.com.
