Abrakadoodle Summer Camps Feature Deliciously Creative Fun for Kids
Parents picked this year's new and highly imaginative themes for Abrakadoodle's creative summer art camps 2010
Reston, VA, April 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Abrakadoodle summer art camps will soon be coming to locations throughout the community, transporting children to an imaginative world where they create, design, explore and use their imaginations. These creativity-boosting programs are designed for both preschool and school age children and combine innovative themes, games and music, along with top quality instruction and art materials to inspire creativity and learning. Abrakadoodle, nominated and selected for seven Nickelodeon 2009 Parents’ Picks Awards – more than any other art program -- teaches children a fine arts vocabulary and art history as students learn about the styles and techniques of such artists as Renoir, Matisse, and many other classic and contemporary artists. More than just a drawing program, Abrakadoodle students learn how to paint, sculpt, sketch, design collage and mosaics, create with paper and fabric, as well as stamping, anime, and digital photography, to name just some of the art forms. Abrakadoodle uses an abundance of creative materials (bamboo brushes, sculpting materials, fabric, watercolors, acrylics and more) to inspire students’ to create their original works of art.
“We work very hard to create camp experiences that deliver wow,” commented Mary Rogers, MA.Ed, CEO and co-founder of Abrakadoodle. “We want kids to have activities that are packed with fun. The fact that they are learning and developing skills is a bonus! All our camps are great, but we are especially proud of our parent-picked new camps selected because our customers chose these imaginative themes.” (See below)
Abrakadoodle’s 2010 summer camps for preschool and school age children will be offered at participating locations nationwide and offer a wide variety of kid-pleasing themes (not all options are show):

(No peanut or peanut oils will be used.)
