HoTram Beach Resort Encourages Participation on Its Earth Day Activities
HoTram Beach Resort showcases environment saving initiatives during Earth Day celebration.
Vung Tau, Vietnam, April 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Hotram Beach Resort & Spa is inviting its guest to join the resort’s Earth Day campaign for a cause by getting involved with its green environment activities on April 24.
To set a benchmark among hotels and resorts around Vung Tau in “going green” with their surrounding, Hotram Resort scheduled a beach clean-up, tree planting, eco-friendly behind the scene resort tour, environment educational movie, and cooking lesson using organic ingredients.
This is as the world celebrates the 40th anniversary of Earth Day this month. Hotram resort starts the celebration with a beach clean-up activity where guests can join its staff to pick up litter along a one- mile stretch of public beach area.
Mr. Allan Tuppil, Hotram’s general manager said their guests are encouraged to collect more garbage to win a prize.
“We will also tour our guests to our models in water recycling program, solar panels for water heating, use of organic harvest, and non-toxic cleaning products which we call behind the scenes resort tour,” Tuppil said.
The tour highlights the resort’s 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) practice which is strictly implemented by its Green Team.
The resort also offers early morning free Yoga meditation session to praise the planet through the sun and moon salutations in honor of Mother Earth.
And since it is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Tuppil said they will give 40% discount to 40 lucky guests availing any of its 60- minute spa treatment or pay only $40 for a couple booking a 90-minute aroma therapeutic massage, using organic essential oils.
HoTram Beach Resort’s Earth Day celebration ends with a dinner at Gecko Restaurant and a beach movie showing of Al Gore’s thought-provoking environmental film, “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Tuppil believed that the activities will not only help attain the resort’s objective for an eco-friendly focused operation but will definitely trigger the visitor’s awareness towards responsible tourism practice.
“Environmental preservation is on top of our list and Earth Day is just the perfect opportunity to instigate awareness among our guests on simple ways they can participate in saving the planet while on holiday,” Tuppil said.
HoTram Beach Resort is located along the coastal road of Baria, Vung Tau Province, Vietnam, a two hour drive from Saigon. More details can be found at www.hotramresort.com
