Poll - 72% of Private Investors in Asia Bullish
Singapore, Singapore, April 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Almost three-quarters of investors in private and unlisted companies in Asia think that now is a good time to invest, according to a survey released by AsiaBusinessInvestor.com.
Energy, IT and property are the most popular investment sectors according to the survey with 74% of investors wishing to see more investment opportunities.
The survey involved a survey of 326 investors and capital raisers from Asia and the Middle-East that were involved in private investment deals. Half of the respondents were involved in private investments over US$1 million with the median size deal being between US$500,000 and US$1 million in unlisted private companies.
The biggest challenges for private investors in Asia are finding suitable companies to invest (71%) and dishonest intermediaries (64%).
