Smart Box Capital Ranks #1 in Three Categories in Barclay Hedge Manager Ranking
Smart Box Capital ranks #1 in three categories in the Barclay Hedge manager ranking for January 2010.
New York, NY, April 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In its first month in the ranking, Smart Box Capital has come in first in three categories in the Barclay Hedge Ranking including the all important Systematic Traders Ranking and second in the general managed futures CTA under Ten Million ranking.
Yield to date as of the end of February was 7.80% in the unleveraged product, outperforming the systematic index by more than 10%, while the leveraged program returned a massive 54.03%.
Smart Box Capital's director, Hadar Swersky, said "We are delighted with our solid performance in the beginning of 2010 and with the Barclay Hedge ranking. Since we launched the fund in the middle of 2009 we were not considered for ranking in 2009 although our returns merited several rankings. It is a pleasure to be back in our previous form after a difficult 2009 across the board and to start the ranking with such great results.
