Boulder, CO, April 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Online fundraising software provider, DoJiggy, announces a new Earth Day campaign, “Do-Give Back to Mother Earth.” The campaign was created as a way for the Company to support environmental conservation in honor of Earth Day by donating twenty percent of all sales made on April 22, 2010. These proceeds will go towards an environmental fundraising campaign to restore Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite Park.
In 1913, John Muir led the fight to prevent the destruction of Hetch Hetchy Valley, after the city of San Francisco won congressional approval to build a dam and bury the wilderness valley under 300 feet of water. Situated inside Yosemite National Park, the glacial valley was described by Muir as “one of nature’s rarest and most precious mountain temples.” In an effort to help save this natural wonder, DoJiggy will not only donate a percentage of sales to help restore the valley, but also encourages other businesses, partners, customers and friends to make online donations.
“This is just one of many efforts people around the globe will make as we celebrate Earth Day this year,” said Lisa Bennett, Director of Sales. “We believe in the work of our clients and are happy to support this fundraising initiative in an effort to help conserve nature.” The Company also contributes to environmental programs and development projects through their annual DoJiggy Giving™ program by donating a percentage of annual profits to clients.
