Melinda Myers Launches Melinda's Garden Moment Vignettes for Radio
Milwaukee, WI, April 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Nationally known gardening expert Melinda Myers has launched Melinda’s Garden Moments for Radio, a brand new series of one-minute gardening tips that are now being heard on radio stations throughout the country.
Similar to her Melinda’s Garden Moment television segments which have been airing on network TV stations since 2007, Melinda’s Garden Moments for radio are designed to encourage gardeners of all ages by making it fun and easy for them to create and maintain a healthy, beautiful garden.
Considering the current economic conditions, Myers covers ways people can grow their own food and beautify their gardens and landscapes without spending a lot of money, including topics such as “Grow Your Own and Save,” “Attracting Birds and Butterflies to the Garden,” “Expand Your Garden with Plant Cuttings,” “Grow Your Own Favorite Recipe,” and “Plan a bit of Fragrance in your Garden.”
“I want to make gardening fun and encourage all ages to give it a try,” explained Myers. “There are also many benefits to enhancing your landscape besides the pure enjoyment that flowers and trees can bring, including increasing your home value, reducing energy costs and beautifying our communities. Most of all gardening can be a huge stress-reliever - it connects us with the earth and is good for your soul.”
