Heartland Energy of Colorado Announces Otto Hansmeyer #1
Heartland Energy Colorado announces the inception of Otto Hansmeyer #1 in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The well was spudded this morning and is scheduled to be drilled to a total depth of 7,500 feet to test the Simpson Sands.
Denver, CO, April 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Heartland Energy Development Corporation of Englewood (Denver), Colorado, announces the spudding of the Otto Hansmeyer #1 well in Section 18 of 9N 1W Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The well was spudded this morning and it is scheduled to be drilled to a total depth of 7,500 feet to test the Simpson sands.’ Summit Oil Company of Oklahoma City is the designated operator of the well while Heartland Energy Development Corporation is a 100% working interest holder in the wellbore.
The well targets the Redfork and Bromide sands that arte prevalent producers in the area. The prospect was discovered and controlled by well control, 2D seismic data, and a newly implemented single shot seismic technique. The well is scheduled for a 12-day drilling program and Heartland Energy Development Corporation is excited about the potential of the well, as it offset a field of 34 wellbores that cumulatively produced over 10.2 Mbbls of high quality crude for an average of over 300,000 bbls per wellbore.
