Local Cleveland Artist Brings "Hope" to Cavs Fans

Cleveland, Ohio artist Rob Hixenbaugh has released yet another stunning image, this time one that is beginning to take Cleveland Cavs fans by storm.

Medina, OH, April 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Inspired by the image made world famous throughout the last Presidential Election, Rob Hixenbaugh used a unique paint effect to create his new image of "Hope." The design, which appears to be a smiling Lebron James made from a sea of brightly colored paint strokes, emblazoned with one word at the bottom, "HOPE," has apparently struck a chord with Cleveland fans.

Hixenbaugh said he simply came up with the idea while thinking about how important it is for Lebron James to remain in Cleveland. "This is the summer of decision," he said. "Lebron is such an important part of our city, and we all have great hope that he will stay with us."

Some other fans have a different take on his image. Ellen Yaro from Parma, Ohio said when she first saw it, she thought it meant "Hope" for the championship this year.

"It can have a number of meanings," said Hixenbaugh. "That is what makes it so special. Whether you are hoping that we come out on top this year, or hoping that we keep our main man right here in Cleveland - without hope, we have nothing. So it is very appropriate at this time."

The t-shirts are being offered for a limited time only and are also of the highest quality and among some of the softest shirts available. They are being offered in sizes small through 3XL.

Hixenbaugh is urging all people who purchase a shirt, to take a photo of themselves wearing it to be part of a possible exciting project to be announced shorty via the website.

Hixenbaugh is best known for his creation of The Memorial Flag lithograph which can be seen at www.HixenbaughCollection.com, which is an image that when viewed from a distance appears to be our great American Flag, however is actually made up of close to 1,000 smaller images of the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. The print made headlines and was featured in local and national media, hung in The White House for a period of time, and even made a stop on The Today Show with Katie Couric. Hixenbaugh was hired shortly thereafter to design one of his mosaic prints for American Idol.

Could this be a hint of the possible soon to be announced exciting project, but based on his new "Hope" design? Only time will tell.
