DC Metro Food Tours Presents Gastronomic Georgetown Food Tour

Washington, DC, April 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- DC Metro Food Tours presents Gastronomic Georgetown; a fully guided walk detailing the neighborhood’s 250 year existence through food, history, and architecture. The three hour event brings small groups from the west end to the heart of Georgetown to learn about the area’s history, residents, and cuisine. Groups will enjoy a variety of dishes from selected local restaurants that reflect their specialties while remaining true to the neighborhood’s culinary history.

Gastronomic Georgetown will begin on Saturday March 9th at 2:00pm. The Food Tour will bring together progressive, high end cuisine, with long standing DC institutions. From restaurants and shops running before prohibition, to swanky hotspots, this Food Tour offers some of the culinary best this area has to offer.
