Team Zoum Sailors Dominate the Podium at the 2010 LYC Spring Ocean Series Dinghy Championships in Ft Lauderdale FL

Fortt Lauderdale, FL, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Team Zoum members ranging in age from 10-14 competed at the 2010 LYC Spring Ocean Series Dinghy Championships hosted by Lauderdale Yacht Club of Ft Lauderdale FL this weekend. The competition was stiff with strong sailors from across Florida sailing offshore in tough ocean conditions that combined rain, heavy sea states, strong currents and medium winds of 10-13 kts.

Team Zoum members placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th overall with Conner Harding and Martina Sly taking 2nd & 3rd in the Red Fleet, Alie Toppa taking 1st in the Blue Fleet, Prescott Coleman and Shawn Harvey taking 1st & 3rd in the White Fleet. Garret Dixon reached deep into his heart and applied all of his 50lbs to take 1st in the Green Fleet. Go Team Zoum.
