Lotus Light Announces New Building
Twin Lakes, WI, November 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Lotus Light, with funding obtained through M&I Bank and the Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA), recently completed a new 24,000 square foot distribution center in the Silver Lake Business Park. The building includes a multi-floor mezzanine and conveyor system that will enable them to handle 5-10 times its current sales volume and more than double the existing selection of products.
Lotus Light will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, December 5th at 10:00 a.m. to unveil the new facility. Tours of the building and light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will follow the ribbon cutting. Please contact Shanta Krinsky (information listed below) if you would like to attend and to obtain directions.
Lotus Light in recent years has been experiencing strong double digit sales growth due to the strong national presence it has attained in the natural products industry. The new building is located across the street from the current facility, which will continue to be utilized by Lotus Light for its office staff.
Lotus Light Natural Body Care was founded in 1981 by Santosh and Karuna Krinsky in Wilmot, Wisconsin. In 1991 Lotus Light, working with KABA, became the first tenant in the Schenning Business Park in Silver Lake, Wisconsin. In the more than 25 years since its founding, Lotus Light has grown steadily by focusing on selection, service and convenience to their wholesale customer base.
Lotus Light is a “business to business” distributor to stores and health practitioners of a wide range of natural personal care, dietary supplement and other natural health related products. The more than 14,000 products they stock include a number of national brand names as well as unique, high quality smaller product lines. Lotus Lights sells to some 3,000 wholesale accounts nationwide, including most of the major health food chains. Local customers in Southeast Wisconsin include Woodman's Markets, Whole Foods and Outpost Natural Foods. Lotus Light specializes in fast turnaround, no minimum order, and high in-stock levels.
Lotus Light also provides turnkey “direct to consumer” fulfillment on behalf of a number of its wholesale customers via online orders through various websites.
