Fred Astaire Dance Studio Opens in Orchard Park
Orchard Park, NY, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ballroom dance enthusiasts will be excited to learn that Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios (FADS) now has a second Western New York location. FADS Orchard Park is at 3459 Amelia Drive, Orchard Park, NY within the Quaker Crossing Plaza.
The studio welcomes dancers of all ages and skills – from beginners wishing to learn a few steps for a special occasion to more experienced dancers interested in competing. Classes will be offered in all the Ballroom Dance styles, which include Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha and Swing.
The studio is owned by professional dance instructor and choreographer, Tommy Radon; Andrei and Anastasia Abrashin, owners of the Fred Astaire studio in Williamsville, NY; local real estate developer, Gerry Buchheit.
“Increased television coverage means ballroom dance has become much more popular than in previous years. This interest has provided us the opportunity to bring it and the Fred Astaire brand to the Southtowns”, says Tommy. “We are looking forward to sharing the joy and benefits of dance with our new neighbors and welcoming them into the Fred Astaire family”.

Tommy was previously an instructor at the Fred Astaire studio in Williamsville, NY where he gained the titles of Top New York Instructor for three consecutive years as well as Top US Instructor in 2008. Tommy is also the owner of STORM and recently bought Anna Trebunskaya, from ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”, to Buffalo for a charity fundraiser on behalf of Variety, the Children’s Charity.
