Rotary Club of College Park Sponsors Little League Team
Rotary Club of College Park sponsors its first Little League Baseball team for the 2010 season. The team is called The Rays and they have been working hard this spring to have a good season.
Orlando, FL, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The College Park Rotary Club is a proud sponsor of the College Park Little League baseball team The Rays for the 2010 spring season. College Park Little League, established in 1950, includes baseball and softball divisions for boys and girls ages 5-16. Eligible players are guided by coaches who take great pride in teaching players good sportsmanship while providing excellent instruction for improving their skills.
This is the first time the College Park Rotary Club has sponsored a Little League Team and it’s exciting for the club members because Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, is about giving back to the community. Sponsorships like ours help offset the costs of equipment, player insurance, professional umpires and operational expenses.
The Rays are working hard this spring to have a good season. The College Park Rotary Club members often make the weekly games to cheer on The Rays. It’s encouragement like this that will keep them motivated throughout the season. For more information on College Park Little League visit www.collegeparkll.com
