Training Tracker Upgrade Now Available for Small Business

Business software company Business Performance P/L today announced the new release of their economical training management software.

Melbourne, Australia, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The training administration software market is saturated with highly complex, expensive and difficult to learn systems. Up till now, small businesses and single departments in larger organizations have not been well served. This week, Business Performance P/L answered their call with the release of the new version of their popular Training Tracker software.

Training Tracker Version 2.0 is designed to benefit anyone who needs to track training economically and efficiently. Some of the enhancements included in the new version of Training Tracker are a new style interface, improved navigation, more reliable reports, new reports and charts, improved data protection and error handling and help on customizing compliance training reminders and warning notices.

One of the noteworthy improvements is the addition of a data migration wizard. Some customers will have their company and employee data residing in another database, such as their Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The new data migration wizard allows customers to now easily import their company setup data into Training Tracker and to export their data into another workbook. Customers using previous versions of Training Tracker will also find the new wizard hugely beneficial as they can now transfer their existing data into the new version easily and very quickly. Upgrading from a previous version of Training Tracker has just become so much simpler and hassle free.

The click ‘n’ go reports and charts are another noteworthy improvement in the new version. Customers can now select from one of the many preconfigured reports and charts and click a button. The report or chart is then ready for distribution to managers, customers, participants, or anyone else. Allan adds, “And it’s so easy now to copy that training report or chart to another program or document. The database administrator can, for example, copy the Training Tracker expenditure report table and chart with one click and paste them into their Microsoft Word monthly management report.”

The types of reports that Training Tracker is preconfigured to automatically produce include the following:

-training participant activity
-training expenditure by department or training provider
-training hours by department, trainer or training provider
-training status by outcome, results or purchase status
and others

If a report or chart does not suit the customer’s exact needs, they are able to customize the report or chart to their precise requirements. They are even able to produce entirely new reports and charts.
