Dallas, TX, April 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Generational Equity, a leading advisor to privately held and family-owned businesses for mergers, acquisitions, strategic growth initiatives, business valuation and exit planning announced the acquisition of its client, Reynoldsville Casket Company headquartered in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania to Matthews International Corporation (Nasdaq: MATW), of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Reynoldsville Casket Company is a manufacturer and distributor of metal caskets and other supplies, including cremation products, primarily in the Northeast region of the United States. The company carries a standard line of caskets available in a variety of customized styles in nearly endless possible combinations. Reynoldsville Casket Company takes pride in their commitment to quality, selection, and service with the heart of their commitment being craftsmanship. Terms of the transaction were not immediately disclosed. Reynoldsville reported sales of approximately $13 million in calendar 2009.
