Chesapeake Roller Derby and Batman to Join Casey Cares Kami’s Jammies Fashion Show

Baltimore, MD, April 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Celebrating Good Times is the theme of the Casey Cares Third Annual Kami’s Jammies Fashion Show on Sunday, May 23rd from 1:00 – 4:00pm at Towson University’s Stephen’s Hall Theatre with children ages 3 – 16 modeling their pajamas. Following the theme of the show will be the Chesapeake Roller Derby skating in their pirate pajamas and Batman escorting a group of Casey Cares children in their pajamas down the runway. The Casey Cares Foundation is a 501 c 3 charity that provides uplifting programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families.

“Roller derby is a community that celebrates ordinary people doing something extraordinary,” stated Katie Shadrach, spokesperson for Chesapeake Roller Derby, “We can’t wait to hit the runway to help the Casey Cares Foundation in their mission of providing uplifting activities to critically ill children.”

Model entrance fee is only $12 with audience tickets at $15. (Experience is not necessary.) Deadline for registration is Saturday, May 15, 2010. Entrance forms are available on line or by mail.
