RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network Brings Balloon to Tilton Elementary in Chicago’s West Garfield Park on May 3
Elgin, IL, April 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will visit George W. Tilton Elementary School, 223 N. Keeler Ave. in the West Garfield Park area of Chicago on May 3, where the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.
The students at Tilton Elementary will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon will visit more than 40 schools this spring in northern Illinois.
The program will be presented three times, at 9:45, 10:45 and 11:45 a.m., in the school gymnasium to accommodate all 500 students. The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be inflated with cold air, permitting students to walk inside it. The presentation then will conclude outdoors with a demonstration of how the balloon basket and burners operate.
