Sculptors-Network to Present Figure Sculpture Workshop at Historic Rockledge Mansion
A figurative sculpture workshop will be conducted in June at the historic Rockledge Mansion in Occoquan, Virginia. This three-day workshop provides insights into the studio process and methods for artistic advancement. Sculptors from across the U.S. and Canada have registered; enrollment is limited and only a few spaces remain available.

Workshop instructor Edward Eyth has won numerous national and international awards for his figurative works, which have been exhibited in major cities around the world. His career experience includes collaborating with many of Hollywood's top directors, teaching at the prestigious Art Center College of Design and for the past five years as director of the Richard MacDonald Masters Workshop program in Monterey, California. “I saw photos of Edward’s sculptures in Sculpture Review Magazine and was awed,” states Tony DiFrancesco of Sculptors-Network, “this workshop will provide an opportunity to learn how to breathe life into a sculpture the way he does.” Participants will work from a live model, exploring the tools and techniques required to develop a consistent, reliable process. Artists who share the passion for figurative art are encouraged to attend this informative program.
