Vein Access with Veinlite™: New Product Line from TransLite LLC, Improves Vein Imaging and Access
Finding a vein is the first step in accessing a vein for blood draws or IV insertions. Veinlite devices by TransLite LLC are designed to locate the vein and assist in accessing it, thus reducing patient pain and improving a clinician’s ability to quickly locate proper insertion points for IVs.
Sugar Land, TX, April 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- TransLite LLC, the developer of Veinlite technology, has released a number of new Veinlite devices that further improves the company’s ability to provide physicians with vein imaging and access technology. The medical field has benefited from TransLite’s previous vein locators and the developer has continued its efforts with pocket-sized products meant for use in essential areas such as neonate and emergency care.
The new Veinlite EMS ™ is the company’s most affordable, pocket-sized vein locator. It’s suitable for general vein imaging access for both children and adults. The EMS hosts sixteen dual-colored LED lights (12 orange and 4 red) and is powered by two AA batteries. A new low battery indicator has been added to the new version of the Veinlite EMS.
The Veinlite PEDI has been designed as the business’ smallest, pocket-sized vein locator and is meant for use with newborns, neonates and babies. It has twelve dual-colored LED lights for vein finding with young patients and features a snap-on neonate adaptor (for transillumination of small limbs).
Veinlite, the company’s fiber optic vein locator, provides the brightest lighting and imaging depth currently available. It has 150 watts of power and a large ring that optimizes vein imaging. This product is ideal for hard-to-find veins, large patients and in clinical departments that offer treatment options for patients with varicose veins.
TransLite LLC is a leading technology innovator in the medical industry. Its Veinlite vein locators have been clinically proven to improve vein access success rate and have been adopted by renowned medical institutions and facilities.
