On April 29, 2010, President of Passion River Films, Allen Chou, will be hosting a film distribution & marketing seminar followed by a panel discussion featuring industry experts.

Allen Chou is President of Passion River Films, a NJ based company that distributes documentaries, art house films, and special interest titles to theaters, VOD, home video, libraries & colleges. With a diverse catalog of films that have been official selections in major film festivals, along with producers and directors that have been nominated or won Academy Awards, Allen has placed titles into retail stores such as Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Movie Gallery, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. In 2005, Allen established a distribution partnership with Netflix, resulting in over 200 titles released on their site. Allen also manages the Internet Marketing & Digital Delivery Division, overseeing search engine strategies, social media marketing, and streaming video. Allen Chou received his BA from the University of Maryland and also attended New York University.
