New Haven Pride Center Announces Leadership Changes - Joshua O’Connell Joins Thomas Donato as Co-President

New Haven, CT, April 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The New Haven Pride Center is pleased to announce that Joshua O’Connell is assuming the position of co-president of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. He joins Thomas Donato as co-president of the organization.

O’Connell has been a board member of the NHPC for the last three years, and has contributed to the organization in a variety of ways, including: co-chairing the NHPC’s Dorothy Awards Committee for three years; running the Center’s GLANCE group for adolescents; and playing a key role in development and maintenance of the Center’s new website.

The Pride Center also announces that former co-president Dorian Harding-Morick will assume a new position on the Board as head of the newly-established Programming Committee. The NHPC thanks Harding-Morick for her incredible service as co-President of the organization, and for her tireless work in the role over the last two-and-a-half years. They share her excitement as she moves into this new role and they appreciate the momentum she has helped to create for the NHPC.

The remainder of the board of the NHPC – John Allen, Thomas Donato, Kathryn Thomas and Maureen Thomas – looks forward to working with both O’Connell and Harding-Morick in their new roles.
