Free Stamp Catalog to Eclipse 100,000 Stamps
Colnect Collectors Club (colnect.com) announced that its stamp catalog reached a significant milestone today, as over 100,000 stamps have been uploaded onto the site for its collectors to mark in their "Collection," "Swap" and "Wish" lists.
San Jose, CA, April 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- "This phenomenal achievement would not have been possible without the tremendous work of Colnect's volunteer stamp contributors working under the guidance of Fabien Eicke and Klaus Jochimsen, our energetic stamps coordinators," Colnect founder Amir Wald proclaimed. Their collaborative efforts were credited for transforming stamps into the 2nd collectible category (after phonecards) to eclipse 100,000 items in Colnect's catalogs.
Currently, the United States has by far the largest quantity of stamps on Colnect with over 10,000. This next closest countries are France at just under 4,000 and East Germany with slightly more than 3,000.
