National Allotment Expands Into More Regions

Major Independent Insurance Agency opens up in Atlanta

Atlanta, GA, April 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Knowing the different type of insurance policies is important to make sure that you satisfy both your short term and long term needs. “There are many features about life insurance that the average person does not understand, especially African Americans,” says Insurance Agent Pernon Dunston of National Allotment. “The older generation of African Americans understood the importance of having life insurance coverage that the younger generation does not for some reason.”

Mr. Dunston is on a crusade to educate the younger generation on what they need to know about life insurance coverage. Pernon got into the business through his father Sam Dunston, the founder of National Allotment. At twenty three years of age, Pernon is the youngest top selling insurance agent in the region. He states that his success is attributed to giving his clients top customer service and helping them to meet all of their financial goals. “Insurance is a very lucrative business even in a down economy.”

Pernon suggests whole life insurance for the family that wants a lifetime coverage that builds cash value. Whole life insurance is also advantageous if you want to borrow against the cash value to buy a home or start a business. So if you have a $500,000 whole life policy with a $100,000 cash value, you can borrow against the cash value with a lower interest than a bank and the policy will pay it back.

An avid golfer, Pernon Dunston spends any little free time that he has conducting informational seminars across the country on life insurance through the Kiwanis Club of Bed-Stuy, in which he is the President. He teaches high school students on business management and is looking to expand National Allotment into more markets outside of New York and New Jersey such as Atlanta. Pernon Dunston is currently recruiting insurance agents in Atlanta and giving free quotes to businesses looking to save money on insuring their staff.
