Pink, Not Just a Color but a Lifestyle
Showcasing the riveting and edgy “Pink” the documentary
Miami, FL, November 18, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Pink is certainly more than just a hue. Pink is power. Pink is beautiful. Introducing a documentary film that portrays one of the last frontiers of exotic dancing, produced by Cyclops Multimedia.
Pink Vol. 1, the first in a series of documentaries by Cyclops Multimedia, sheds light to the secret world of exotic dancing. The word has redefined and given new meaning by uncovering women’s motives for remaining trapped and bound in a profession which promises them a quick route to luxury that ultimately takes a physical, mental, and emotional toll on them as they indulge in drugs and alcohol to cope with the demands of stripping and often, the abuse of their patrons. Star veteran performers “Porsha” and “Freaky Red” explain the pitfalls of the industry while newcomer “Platinum” refers to the money strippers make as, “The Devil’s money, where a girl can bank $1000.00 in one night and go broke by the next night.”
Hip-Hop icon Uncle Luke, also featured in the documentary, explains the relation of the strip clubs to modern day music videos and dancers. Uncle Luke, the man who dared to be as nasty as he wants to, tells his reasons for making strippers the music video girls of the 90’s, turning them into stars, and popularizing this newfound urban culture. Ump of Bulletproof Management also explains the tasks of a club manager/owner in keeping the harmony of strippers and patrons.
“That’s just a part of reality…we talk about what goes on in our neighborhoods, what we see in the streets and in the clubs,” says rapper Lil Jon.
Multi-platinum artists Trick Daddy, Lil Jon, Jacki-O, Wyclef Jean, and others share their insight on how exotic dancing influences hip hop culture and music. Come into the realms of Pink to find out just how deep it really goes.
