EngEx 2010 Plenary Session Set to Focus on Nationwide High Speed Rail Network
The Plenary Session will Feature Andy Kunz CEO of the U.S. High Speed Rail Association
San Diego, CA, April 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- An innovative nationwide high speed rail system starting deployment in 2015 and rolling until 2030 will be the topic of the plenary session set for EngEx 2010, the leading transportation conference in the country this year.
“High speed rail will connect Northern and Southern California as early as 2015,” said Kausain Shaikh, Founder of EngEx 2010. “There will soon be trains running 220-miles-per-hour traveling between San Diego and Sacramento with connections to Los Angeles and San Francisco among other stops.”
Built over four phases in 2015, 2020, 2025 and 2035, the 220-mile-per-hour high speed rail system is projected to connect most of the major cities coast-to-coast. The entire footprint of the system will be more than 17,000 miles.
“It’s an ambitious project that will make Andy Kunz a great plenary speaker for our focus on the next generation of transportation in the United States,” Shaikh said. “This project is the modern wave of the great railroad across the United States that initially drove the golden spike at Promontory Summit in the former Utah Territory.”
To check out the entire map of the planned high speed rail network, and the connector network of 110-mile-per-hour trains feeding smaller cities, please check out their interactive map display at www.ushsr.com.
EngEx 2010, taking place July 29 through 31 at the San Diego Convention Center, will bring together more than 10,000 investors, researchers, public policy professionals, visionaries and governmental representatives focused on business development and networking opportunities in the transportation, environmental, water and energy industries.
There are also more than 200 exhibitors expected at the event and prime booth space for this premier event is being reserved fast. Limited space is still available.
Advanced registration for the conference is now also available online and high demand is already being experienced for this ultimate conference.
