Community Bank Gives Back to Families in their Community and Supports Rebuilding Efforts of Childs Park

Local bank give $1000 to help fund community-based organization in Meredith, NH.

Meredith, NH, April 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Last week, the Friends of Meredith Parks and Recreation started campaigning for individual and merchant support for the rebuilding of Childs Park in Meredith Center. With the assistance of the late Bobby Smyth and her husband Lou Kahn, the group has started to receive contributions large and small and the dream of a new park is only dollars away. The latest is a contribution by Meredith Village Savings Bank for $1000. Other recent contributors, in addition to Lou Kahn, include: Flanders and Company, Remcon/North Corp., Innsfree Books and Overhead Door Options. Additional supporters will be updated on a regular basis, throughout the campaign.

“We are extremely proud of our local merchants stepping up to the plate to help us with this effort,” says Tami Carpentiere, co-founder of the group, “We are excited that Meredith Village Savings wants to be part of this community-wide event and thanks them tremendously for their contribution.”
