Sales Rep to Generate New Business for Gatenby Services

Wells, United Kingdom, April 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Gatenby Services in Somerset has recently taken on a brand new Field Sales Representative based at their offices in Wells.

The role will include being responsible for the generating of new business in the local area, looking after existing clients and ensuring the company continues to meet their needs, and also setting up site visits and meetings with new customers. The role will include account management for some of Gatenby Services’ larger clients, along with attendance at the main Trade Shows held all over the UK in order to represent the business nationally.

The need for a new member of staff arose due to recent company expansion, including the securing of a brand new contract which has increased workload significantly for the next 1-2 years. It was thought that the company could benefit from having a representative working outside of the office, canvassing the local businesses to generate new leads, as well as working with domestic users to provide or adapt their IT and Computing solutions.

It is thought that the new position will help to expand the company, which has recently been awarded a high value contract from the local employer to recommend and install a brand new IT suite along with hardware, and to maintain this for a number of years. The company has also recently acquired a brand new employee from one of its main competitors, which has further helped to boost the company and its capabilities in the local market.

Gatenby Services offers complete computing solutions including consultancy, telephony services and website design packages. All engineers are Certified Microsoft Professionals with over 50 years experience combined.
