RE/MAX of Stuart Celebrates 30th Anniversary
Stuart, FL, April 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- As a single mother of three and one of few female business owners in the area, Mary Ann Villalva was determined to build a real estate office that would serve buyers and sellers in Martin County.
Today, RE/MAX of Stuart is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with two offices in Stuart and 53 professional sales associates.
Villalva and her daughter, Jennifer Atkisson-Lovett, Co-Broker/Owner of RE/MAX of Stuart, have devoted their lives to helping local real estate agents pursue a rewarding career and to helping homebuyers and sellers in the community realize their dreams.
“Mary Ann Villalva represents the best of the real estate industry and her passion and drive are a tremendous asset to the local community and to the RE/MAX Network,” said RE/MAX Florida, Regional Vice President, Adam Contos. “She is a true inspiration to her colleagues, friends and family and to all agents who believe real estate is more than just a business.”
RE/MAX of Stuart was only the third RE/MAX franchise to open in the state of Florida 30 years ago. RE/MAX Chairman and Co-Founder, Dave Liniger, was flying into the area to visit her office, and nearly crashed after seeing her rooftop billboard! It was the first time he had seen a RE/MAX rooftop billboard and he was thrilled.
Villalva is revered, not just by RE/MAX of Stuart associates, but by many in the local real estate community.
Atkisson-Lovett also has a long tenure in real estate, is a mother of two young children herself, and is a former President of the REALTORS® Association of Martin County and past Realtor of the Year. Villalva was named Broker/Owner of the Year in 2001 for the entire RE/MAX Florida Region.
RE/MAX of Stuart and its agents are active in the community and contribute to several charities including The Children’s Museum, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice and Children’s Miracle Network. The office was the top contributor to Children’s Miracle Network in the RE/MAX Florida Region in 2002. The majority of funds donated to Children’s Miracle Network are distributed to local children’s hospitals.
