About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

Princess Deasha and her friend Babo are on a secret quest to find the beautiful garden Deasha’s father, the king, has told her stories about—the garden she has only seen in her dreams. The king, sensing something is up, directs his most stealthy soldier to follow and protect the princess, but Deasha’s journey will take her outside the safety of the palace walls and beyond the village. There she will face wild animal attacks, treacherous terrain, and Zubolla, the evil witch doctor who schemes to dethrone the king and end his reign. By the end of the adventure, Deasha will have learned how to overcome some of her fears and embrace others, and she will have a new understanding of what is important in her life.

“Deasha, listen to the birds, and the wind. We must always listen to and protect this land. We must do the same until the end of our days and beyond!”
