Beginning on May 11, 2010 John Goff and his long-time friend Mark Turner will begin walking from Delaware to Los Angeles in an effort to raise $100,000 for Charity: water, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose efforts are bringing clean drinking water to 16 countries around the world.

The objective of the organization and partnerships with Charity: Water is to allow everyone to experience the amazing courage and passion it takes to help millions of people in need, receive clean and safe drinking water. Almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. That’s one in eight of us.
Founder, John Goff said, “I knew I had to make a difference in the world. While living in the Philippines during a religious mission, I saw a level of poverty that I had never seen. This walk across the country will give me a chance to raise money to ease the pains of impoverished nations. I hope to raise $100,000 USD for Charity: Water on this coast-to-coast walk.”
