Ponder has more than seven years of experience in advertising; event promotion, planning, and implementation; development and execution of strategic marketing plans; and business development. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, where she majored in marketing. Ponder is currently an Ambassador with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the North Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA), and is on the board of directors for the Blount Hospitality House.
